I'm starting a blog entitled "Project Milandra" as a diary of the many experiences in finding a home for my family. I am going to dwell on the painstaking tasks that are involved in owning a house up to the meticulous approach of renovating it to my desire prior to the grand migration.

The idea of blogging (oh! by the way, this is my first attempt at blogging as well, so mind the hiccups along the way ha guys) about this project that I have recently embarked on was actually driven and inspired by two key persons. First is Prem, my loving wife, she encouraged me into starting this blog about renovating our biggest joint acquisition, the house of our own. This other inspiration came in the form of a guy I barely got to know from the Malaysian Fishing Net forum, who through his blogworks has made me believe that I also can do this blogging thang. He is Sharma D. Pillai and he maintains a few blogs that might interest folks who are into angling or photography. So Sharma, I know we haven't really got acquainted well but thanks to you bro, I am inspired to blog.

I hope the tale of my life implicating project would be of useful information for others who are about to embark on the same path. I would reflect the real life issues and challenges of a middle class citizen in his or her quest to own and personalize a dwelling nest amidst the concrete jungle. Perhaps this blog of mine could be a more casual discussion point for home owners alike. So watch this space for more postings on Project Milandra and feel free to share views and info on the enabling industries surrounding home ownership.
